Proficy Logic Developer PLC Machine Edition (333): Register Online

The Proficy Logic Developer Machine Edition (PLC for 90/30, 90/70,VersaMax, RX7i and RX3i) course familiarizes the student with the control logic development tool suite used to program the entire family of GE Fanuc industrial control hardware. Emphasis is given to understanding and operating in the development environment, understanding the available logic development options, generating programs using the ladder logic language option and communicating with control target(s) (90/30, 90/70, VersaMax, RX7i and RX3i PLCs).

Proficy PACSystems Programming (426): Register Online

The PACSystems Programming course familiarizes students with GE Fanuc PACSystems Controller programming concepts and Proficy Machine Edition software. Starting with the PACSystems software architecture, students are taught how to effectively develop control applications using building block concepts. This course builds on Object-Oriented concepts with User-Defined Function Blocks (UDFBs), as well as the development of application components using Structured Text (ST) and Function Block Diagram (FBD) programming languages.

The Proficy HMI/SCADA iFIX Advanced course is designed to pick up where the iFIX Fundamentals course ends. The course is intended to provide the student a base level of proficiency using some of the product's more advanced features. The student will become familiar with some of the tools and concepts available for optimizing and troubleshooting iFIX.

Using VBA with Proficy iFIX (354): Register Online

The Using VBA with iFIX course is designed for those who wish to acquire a basic knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) within iFIX. This knowledge will allow the student to generate VBA based solutions for their special system requirements. The course begins with an introduction to VBA and why VBA is so important in today's applications. Lectures, coding examples, and labs are included in this course on the important aspects of VBA, as well as reference to Visual Basic syntax. This course will demonstrate to the student how to enhance runtime operation to solve special problems.

The Proficy Historian Development course is designed to provide the student with a good working knowledge of Proficy Historian. Topics include both an administrative focus for server-based tasks as well as development focus for the client-based reporting tasks. The Proficy Workflow Fundamentals course focuses on configuration and development of Proficy Workflow applications. Participants will design custom forms with the Workflow Display Builder, and connect Workflow to a variety of data source applications including OPC, Historian, HMI/SCADA, and Plant Applications. Administration, authoring and reporting activities are also provided to provide a practical and comprehensive introduction to the Proficy Workflow solution.
