Proficy HMI/SCADA iFIX Fundamentals

The Proficy HMI/SCADA iFIX Fundamentals course is designed to provide a good working knowledge of iFIX. Valuable hands-on lab exercises are provided which guide students through the building and modification of an HMI application.

Proficy HMI/SCADA iFIX Advanced

The Proficy HMI/SCADA iFIX Advanced course is designed to pick up where the iFIX Fundamentals course ends. The course is intended to provide the student a base level of proficiency using some of the product's more advanced features. The student will become familiar with some of the tools and concepts available for optimizing and troubleshooting iFIX.

Using VBA with Proficy iFIX

The Using VBA with iFIX course is designed for those who wish to acquire a basic knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) within iFIX. This knowledge will allow the student to generate VBA based solutions for their special system requirements. The course begins with an introduction to VBA and why VBA is so important in today's applications. Lectures, coding examples, and labs are included in this course on the important aspects of VBA, as well as reference to Visual Basic syntax. This course will demonstrate to the student how to enhance runtime operation to solve special problems.

Proficy Historian Development

The Proficy Historian Development course is designed to provide the student with a good working knowledge of Historian. It is intended for new users, however, the material in this course assumes prior knowledge of GE Fanuc Automation software. The course includes lab time for configuring and applying the Historian software to process applications.

The Proficy Real-Time Information Portal Development course is designed to provide the student with good working knowledge of the software. The course includes lab time for configuring and applying the software to process applications.

PLC Maintenance with Proficy Logic Developer Machine Edition

The GE Fanuc PLC Maintenance course provides the student with the skills necessary to troubleshoot and repair faults in GE Fanuc programmable logic controllers (90-30, 90-70, VersaMax, RX7i and RX3i). The class is taught using Logic Developer PLC software, which is part of the Machine Edition family of products. The focus of this course is teaching students how to interpret existing ladder logic programs for troubleshooting purposes. Students are also taught how to use the troubleshooting tools within the software to determine where faults have occurred and how to correct them.

Proficy Logic Developer PLC Machine Edition

The Proficy Logic Developer Machine Edition (PLC for 90/30, 90/70,VersaMax, RX7i and RX3i) course familiarizes the student with the control logic development tool suite used to program the entire family of GE Fanuc industrial control hardware. Emphasis is given to understanding and operating in the development environment, understanding the available logic development options, generating programs using the ladder logic language option and communicating with control target(s) (90/30, 90/70, VersaMax, RX7i and RX3i PLCs). An experienced instructor is provided to guide the student using demonstrations and hands on lab exercises so they are prepared to develop control solutions.

The Proficy HMI/SCADA CIMPLICITY Fundamentals course is designed to provide a good working knowledge of CIMPLICITY. Valuable hands-on lab exercises are provided which guide students through the building and modification of an HMI application.
